The Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support renewal course is designed for Pediatricians, House Staff, Emergency Physicians, Family Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, and other Healthcare Providers who are responsible for responding to emergencies involving infants and children . To prepare for the course you must complete the following: Complete the four-part PALS Pre-Course Self-Assessment and Video Prework : PALS Video Prework (Use the code Maimo when it asks for a PO#) It includes Video Lessons , ECG Recognition, Pharmacology, and Application. The 2020 Version of the Pre-Course Self-Assessment and Video Lessons will no longer be accepted. The completion certificate must be dated no earlier than 6 months prior to the start of the class. *All students must have a current AHA PALS book and MUST complete the Pre-Course Self-Assessment and Pre-course Video Work prior to the date of the class. Please note there will be a $35.00 processing fee which will be charged to your account for ALL cancellations greater than 24 hrs. prior to class start date. If you drop the class within 24 hours of the course start date there will be no refund . For PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) course participants, there is a four part PALS Self-Assessment and Video Pre-Course Work that must be completed prior to the start of the class. **ALL completion certificates regardless of discipline must be dated no earlier than 6 months prior to the start of the class.** All Video Prework and Self Assessment completion certificates can be emailed to [email protected] . Maimonides Employees must enter their Employee Life Number and the Department they currently work in.
